No surprise then if they chose Tuscany to gather families from all over the world and celebrate for a couple of days. Nicole and Pasquale welcomed their guests at Conti di San Bonifacio, in the countryside, halfway between Val d'Orcia and the sandy beaches of Follonica. The venue is legendary, surrounded by acres of unspoiled Tuscany. Featuring a lovely swimming pool with a view, Conti di San Bonifacio is the perfect venue for cosy and intimate celebrations.
After getting ready in their rooms together with their bridesmaids and groomsmen, they exchanged vows and rings in the garden, among their touched families and friends. Later on, we shot the newlyweds along the dirt road that leads to the property. A lush vineyard on a side, cypresses trees on the other; there couldn't be a better spot for their wedding photos in Tuscany. In the meantime, their guests were enjoying a superb aperitif by the pool, pampered with canapés and super colourful drinks.
As soon as the newlyweds joined the aperitif, the real party could begin. The dinner took place in the garden, where the superb Flowersliving team set up a fairytale setting, with blush and burgundy hues. Many other crazy things happened that night, but better to leave the documentation private for the newlyweds only.
More than anything, we'll keep in our heart lots of extraordinary things from these days. We felt part of a big family. I'd think Italianness could be perhaps a genetic component, something that resides in us across the generations. Something that makes you spot your own kind and feel among friends at any latitude.
